To the horror of her friends, teammates, and husband; Marrina has indeed become the Leviathan that is ravaging the eastern seaboard! And now the Avengers have to find a way to stop the Leviathan without killing Marrina! The Prince of Atlantis tries to reason with the undersea behemoth, but to no avail. When Marrina capsizes another cargo ship and sinks a U.S. Navy battleship, the heroes realize that lethal force may be necessary. Meanwhile, Dr. Druid continues to have strange visions about a mysterious woman offering him great power and riches. Cameo appearances by Kang the Conqueror, Ravonna, and Henry Pym.
